The resistance value of PT100 temperature sensor at 0℃ is 100Ω, and the resistance change rate is 0.3851Ω/℃. Due to its small resistance value and high sensitivity, the formula connection method can eliminate the measurement error caused by the resistance of the lead line. The principle is as follows:
The three wires out of PT100 have the same cross-sectional area and length (r1 =r2=r3). The circuit used to measure platinum resistance is generally an unbalanced bridge. Platinum connects one wire (r1) to the power supply end of the bridge, and the other two wires (r2 and r3) are connected to the bridge arm where the platinum resistance is located and the resistance of its adjacent bridge arm respectively. The change of lead resistance has no effect on the measurement result.
