The control of air compressor noise mainly adopts three aspects: muffler, muffler tunnel and sound insulation technology:
1. Install the muffler
The main noise source is the intake and exhaust ports, and appropriate intake and exhaust mufflers should be selected. The frequency spectrum of the air compressor intake noise is low frequency, and the intake muffler should use a resistance structure or an impedance composite structure with individual and resistance as the mainstay. The exhaust pressure of the air compressor is large and the airflow velocity is high, so a small hole muffler should be used at the exhaust port of the air compressor.
2. Set up the muffler tunnel
The underground or semi-underground tunnel of the silencing tunnel, the tunnel wall is made of bricks with good sound absorption. Connect the intake pipe of the air compressor to the muffler tunnel, so that the air enters the air compressor through the muffler tunnel. The use of muffler tunnels can greatly reduce the intake noise of the air compressor, and the service life is longer than that of ordinary mufflers.
3. Build an acoustic enclosure
After installing mufflers or setting muffler tunnels at the inlet and exhaust ports of the air compressor, the airflow noise can be reduced to below 80db(a), but the mechanical noise and motor noise of the air compressor are still very high, so it should be Install a soundproof cover on the unit of the machine. Suspended space sound-absorbing body: In the Linggefeng air compressor station in Foshan, the tall and empty workshop has heavy reverberation. If the sound-absorbing body is dispersed and suspended on the ceiling of the workshop, the noise of the workshop can be reduced by 3-10db(a), and the reverberation time can be reduced by 5-10s.
