1. Start with pressure. On-site check the pressure gauge on the air compressor tank. If the pressure gauge shows pressure, it is preliminarily determined that the system may not be fully depressurized, causing the compressor to start under pressure, resulting in too high starting current, causing the air switch to trip to protect the unit.
2. Electrical equipment failure. Many users use 380V low voltage motors with star-delta conversion in a step-down start-up mode. In the early stages, it operates in a star-shaped fashion. After 10s of start-up, the air compressor will switch to delta operation mode after running. If the star-delta transfer switch fails, normal star-delta transfer is not possible, which will cause the compressor to jump 10s after starting. In addition, due to vibration and other reasons, the start-up time set by the air switch is short, which may also lead to instantaneous jumps in start-up.
3. High temperature jump caused by lubricating oil. There is a temperature probe on the sliding valve core of the temperature control bypass valve. The disconnection of the valve core is controlled by the probe, and it is judged that the opening temperature of the temperature control bypass valve is within 70±10℃; after long-term use, the effect of the probe is reduced and cannot be operated normally When the temperature moves, the hot lubricating oil in the screw air compressor cannot or all be cooled by the oil cooler and return directly to the air compressor, so that the temperature of the air compressor cannot be effectively controlled. The lubricating oil with impurities jams the sliding valve core through the temperature control valve, so that the valve core cannot be completely closed, and the oil without shares directly passes through the machine, and the cooling effect is not good.
4. The compressor is overloaded. The resistance of the screw air compressor head is too large, which will cause the compressor starting current to be too large, that is, the compressor is overloaded, causing the air switch to trip. The role of lubricating oil in screw air compressors is very important. Its functions are mainly reflected in four aspects: lubrication, cooling, sealing and noise reduction. The quality and quantity of oil directly affect the normal operation of the compressor and the service life of the compressor. , especially the impact on the compressor head is the most obvious.
5. The unloading valve is faulty. The unloading valve is an important part of screw air compressors, including permanent magnet variable frequency air compressors. Its main function is to control the loading and unloading of the unit, that is, to control the intake air volume of the compressor.
